Bike Build Service – We’ll build your new bike for you!

Now more than ever, our use of online shopping includes the purchase of bikes.

All types of bikes from kids to high end e-bikes are being purchased online instead of from a traditional bike shops and manufacturers are increasingly offering supply direct to the consumer.

If you have already purchased a bike this way, or are considering it, you may also be a little concerned with the thought of unboxing and building your new bike.  If that’s you, then we’re here to help.

We offer the most comprehensive service available, designed to take away any worry about getting your new bike safely assembled and ready to ride.

Our service includes:

• Unpacking the bike and completing an initial check
  • We’ll make sure everything is looking good before going any further with assembling the bike
• Assembly & completion of a full PDI (pre delivery inspection)
  • We carefully assemble the bike, test each component for correct operation and set up, then check every last nut and bolt.
• Supply of a PDI certificate & completion of any paperwork
  • We complete and sign any paperwork supplied with bike and provide you with a signed PDI certificate for future reference.
• Disposal of all packaging materials
  • We remove the hassle of disposing of large amounts of cardboard and packaging material by doing it all for you
• Handover of bike
  • We will help you with basics like adjusting the saddle height and advising on using and caring for the bike.  For e-bikes we will take you through the bike’s controls and advise on charging and battery care.  For Full suspension bikes we will help with initial suspension set up and sag adjustment
• Free six week check over to make sure everything is running smoothly and you are happy with your bike

In addition we can also offer the following:

• Direct delivery from your supplier to the shop
• Collection of your boxed bike from your home
• Delivery of your completed bike

In some instances assembly by a qualified mechanic and a 6 week check are mandatory to validate the bike’s warranty.  Regardless, we would recommend having your bike professionally assembled for your own safety and peace of mind.

Accidents & Insurance Reports – If you are unfortunate enough to be involved in an accident we can assist with insurance claim assessments & written reports. We can inspect your bike thoroughly and provide a written report detailing the damage incurred. We are also agents for CAMS – Cycling Accident Management Services who will take on your case if you are involved in a no fault accident. From £45.00
